Strengthening Our Hometown Communities
CHS Southwest Grain strives to be positively involved in the growth and development of our communities through scholarships, sponsorships, award programs, internships and careers. From the fields to the local communities, we’re proud to serve our customers and support our area. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping those in our communities.
CHS Seeds for Stewardship Community Donations
CHS Southwest Grain contributes to our local communities through CHS Seeds for Stewardship grants. Since 2018, we have given more than $30,000 to local projects that keep our owners, customers, employees and residents safe, promote ag leadership development and strengthen our communities. Recipients have included Elgin Fire Protection District, Gladstone Volunteer Fire Department, New Leipzig Fire District, the North Dakota Firefighter’s Association, and Morton County 4-H.
Each year, CHS Southwest Grain awards eight $1000 scholarships to students within our trade territory. Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing an agriculturally related career or profession that contributes to benefitting our rural communities.
